We license a vehicle-agnostic AI Driver that runs on onboard compute and embedded sensors, without high-definition maps or custom hardware. This software-led architecture lowers hardware costs, enables deployment across brands, and supports continuous fleet learning with scalable recurring software economics.

Built for scale from day one
Wayve pioneered end-to-end embodied AI in 2017 and built its learning-based AV2.0 architecture from the start, without legacy rule-based technical debt. Nearly a decade of focused R&D has created a compounding advantage across data, foundation models, safety-by-design and deployment experience. These structural advantages position Wayve to scale autonomy globally. The first decade proved the architecture. The next decade is about deployment.
Commercial deployment
Wayve is now entering scaled commercial deployment. From 2026, Wayve-powered robotaxis will launch with Uber in London, expanding internationally to more than 10 markets.
From 2027, consumers will be able to purchase vehicles equipped with Wayve’s AI Driver, beginning with L2+ supervised autonomy integrated into Nissan’s next-generation ProPILOT systems.
